LHS drops by SAVH to learn about visual impairment.
After the wonderful staff gave us an introduction to Braille and aids for the visually impaired, we mingled with the audience and had lunch together!
The residents gave educated us on some of the everyday challenges the visually impaired face, and sang for us! We ended up with a duet of Moon represents my heart!
One of the most memorable moments ever... some of the residents requested to touch the faces of the performers...so that they could match the music to the player...
